SmileLABS say you will go between 2-8 shades lighter [but some people do more than this]. Please note no-one can tell you how white you will go (not a mathematician, a dentist, a scientist, an engineer etc nobody!!) as it is determined by the stains on your teeth and your genetics. With each application of gel to your teeth, and 15 minutes of the LED Light, your teeth become whiter, brighter & lighter.

How long the whitening lasts, comes down to 3 things:

1. Genetics;
2. How many staining foods and beverages you consume and your lifestyle;
3. If you follow the 4 Forever Rules.

As genetics is the primary factor in determining how long the teeth stay white, and how white your teeth will go, no-one can tell you how long it will last. For some people a Smile Labs’ whitening lasts for more than 12+ months, for others it is a year, some 6 months etc, basically it depends on the 3 things listed above. Obviously common sense comes into play too, clearly if you drink a bottle of red wine every day the whitening would not last as long as if you did not!! The person who has 1 bottle of red wine a night is going to get more stained teeth than someone who abstains! Your longevity is definitely improved by avoiding staining foods and beverages, or if you do consume them the best thing to do is rinse thoroughly with water after their consumption.

In terms of how often we recommend getting your teeth whitened, there are three categories that are clients fit into:- Firstly, some of our clients want to come back asap (SmileLABS two main protocols are that you must have 1 week between whitenings and a maximum of 4 lots of 15 minutes in any given sitting) because they did not realise where their teeth were on the Universal Shade Guide ie what colour their teeth were until we ascertained their starting and ending shades; the second category are our clients who come back when they are going to a party, wedding, birthday, they are going on holidays, they have something on for work, or an event is coming up, and lately a lot of clients re-book because they know they are going to be in photos and they want to look good! The third and final group are those who contact us and say “I felt so much more confident and my appearance looked way better and I want to feel that way again”, they use other words like “fresher, younger, brighter, healthier etc” but the main word they use is confident and they loved that feeling.

Smile Labs is an American company that has been operation for in excess of 9 years. During that time they have put a lot of money into research and development, such that they have a product that is:

Painless, non-invasive, non-burning, it leaves no after-taste; importantly whilst giving great whitening results it does not damage the enamel, the dentine or the teeth at all (which a lot of other products do).

Instead of being put into a mouthguard or mouth tray, the gel is painted directly onto the teeth so that there are no issues with the gel squelching up onto the gums and causing pain, sensitivity and discomfort.

The vast majority of customers experience no pain or discomfort. In extremely rare cases, some slight discomfort can arise, which is easily remedied with over the counter medication. In the very unusual instance of sensitivity, we recommend Difflam Mouth Gel, which is anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial, and it can be put on both the teeth and the gums.

A trained Authorised Dealer or their employee will assist you. They are not dentists or dental personnel. This is not a dental procedure; it is a cosmetic procedure. They will not be performing any invasive actions. They don’t insert their fingers, instruments, or anything in a customer’s mouth. 

The Single Session involves one application of gel and 15 minutes of the cool LED Blue Light {please note: it is not Zoom, not a Laser and not a UV Light hence nothing harmful is emitted from the light, all it does is accelerate the process}. Kindly allow 25 minutes for a Single Session.

The Double Session sees the application of 1 coat of gel and 1 lot of 15 minutes with the LED light and then another coating of gel and thereafter a further 15 minutes of the cool LED Blue Light and this requires 45 minutes of a client’s time. Please note: all Sessions they are done at once so there is no going back and forth

If you have a Triple Session ie 3 gel applications and 3 lots of 15 minutes of the LED Light you need to allow an hour out of your day. With each application of gel to your teeth, and 15 minutes of the LED Light, your teeth become whiter, brighter and lighter.

The Quad Session – 4 lots of 15 minutes in the one sitting- takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from start to finish!

This treatment delivers exceptional results to people whose teeth have been stained by smoking or by substances like coffee, tea, red wine or cola and other dark beverages, or even as a result of the aging process. Unfortunately we are unable to allow anyone to have a SmileLABS’ Teeth Whitening whilst they are pregnant or when they are breastfeeding. It is a pre-caution the owners of the company insist on (in the same manner some hairdressers will not colour the hair of someone who is pregnant), even though there is no empirical data suggesting any side effects on the baby. The adage of “better to be safe than sorry” is the motto of SmileLABS! Clients with periodontal disease or dental issues are also discouraged from undergoing a teeth whitening.

In answer to this question, re teeth that are fillings, implants, crowns, caps, veneers, plates, bonded, or porcelain work etc, it makes them whiter, but the ‘best that can happen’ is they can only ever go as white as the original colour they were, when the work was done by your dentist. Teeth whitening whether on ‘real’ or ‘manufactured/repaired’ teeth is an inexact science, nobody can tell you how white you will go, nor how long your teeth will stay white! Both man made and natural teeth are also lighter and brighter too due to the polishing effect the SmileLABS gel has, so the whole mouth and visage look much better.

FYI, the specially formulated gel, that has been refined over 9 years, does not damage implants, fillings, bonding, caps, veneers, plates, porcelain etc and all of the teeth look great on completion.

The recipient of the gift voucher rings to make an appointment when it suits them.
